Account Deletion
You can delete your Sofravo account and all data linked to it at any time. This cannot be undone.
Delete in the App
- Open Sofravo and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete My Account at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your password and confirm.
Your account and data are deleted immediately.
If You Can't Sign In
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Account Deletion". Once we confirm the address matches your account, we will delete it within 30 days and let you know.
What Gets Deleted
- Your email address and password hash
- Your cuisine and diet preferences
- Your recipe notebook, saved recipes and recently opened recipes
- Your weekly menus and shopping lists
- Your expiry tracking list
- Dish photos you shared (including the files), your likes and reports
- Your usage records and sessions
What May Be Kept
Error logs that cannot be linked to a person and cached general recipe texts are not deleted; they contain nothing about your account. If the law requires us to keep a record, we keep it only for that period.
If You Have a Subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being charged, cancel it separately in your store account settings.
Without an Account
If you use Sofravo without an account, your data stays on your phone and is removed when you delete the app.
